CRESP 500MCG Injection is an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA). It works by stimulating the bone marrow (soft tissue inside the bones which produces red blood cells) to produce more red blood cells.

Breast feeding

CRESP 500MCG Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving

CRESP 500MCG Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
CRESP 500MCG Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of CRESP 500MCG Injection is recommended.
Liver
CAUTION
CRESP 500MCG Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of CRESP 500MCG Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE CRESP INJECTION?
If you miss a dose of CRESP 500MCG Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
