In Immunoglobulins deficiency

Ivnex 5gm Infusion strengthens or boost the immune system and lower the risk of infection in persons with a weakened immune system. It works by producing antibodies against foreign substances thereby fighting against infection. It is also used to increase the blood count (platelets) in persons with a certain blood disorder (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura-ITP). This helps stop bleeding and promote the formation of blood clots.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if youโ€™re worried about them

Common side effects of Ivnex

  • Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk)
  • Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness)
  • Injection site soreness
  • Injection site bruising
  • Induration (hardening of a normally soft tissue or organ)
  • Itching
  • Rash

HOW IVNEX SOLUTION FOR INFUSION WORKS

Immune globulin belongs to class of agents called immunostimulants. It works by restoring abnormally low immunoglobulin G levels to the normal range to fight against infectious agents.

Pregnancy

Ivnex 5gm Infusion may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding

CAUTION

Ivnex 5gm Infusion should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving

UNSAFE

Ivnex 5gm Infusion may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

You may experience side effects (for example dizziness or nausea) during Ivnex 5gm Infusion that might affect the ability to drive.

Kidney

CAUTION

Ivnex 5gm Infusion should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ivnex 5gm Infusion may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Ivnex 5gm Infusion is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ivnex 5gm Infusion may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
